What is Nutrition Coaching?

Nutrition coaching provides structure, accountability and education so you actually understand what you’re doing and why. It’s completely personalized based on your goals, history and lifestyle and can support fat loss or body recomposition goals or simply to help fuel training or eat better with less stress.

Nutrition coaching does not provide meal plans, restrict any food goods, use strict macro tracking or follow any kind of specific diet.

How coaching works

Inside the Onward Strong app, we start with a detailed intake so I can understand your training, lifestyle, stress, and sleep, your goals and history and your current habits and challenges.

From there, you’ll get a clear starting plan, education so you build confidence and independence over time, weekly check-ins, ongoing adjustments as your body and life adapt and coach support and messaging as much as you need it.

You don’t need to be “on track” to start. You just need to be willing to show up and communicate. This is a collaborative process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nutrition coaching with Onward Strong requires a minimum 3-month commitment. This allows enough time to build skills, consistency, and meaningful progress. After 3 months, you can continue on a month-to-month basis.

Short answer: not necessarily. Tracking is a tool, not a requirement. Some clients track for clarity and structure, others focus on habits, portions, and food quality instead. We’ll choose the approach that supports your goals and your mental bandwidth.

Nope. Clients come in for fat loss, body recomposition, performance, fuelling training, hormone support, or simply to build better nutrition habits.

Absolutely not. We build nutrition that fits real life, meals you enjoy, flexibility for social events, and yes, room for treats. When food isn’t forbidden, it loses its power and this is all part of the mindset process.

This is coaching, not a template or meal plan. You get individualized guidance, adjustments as life changes, support when things feel hard, and education so you’re not reliant on tracking forever. The goal isn’t short-term compliance, it’s long-term confidence and skill with food.
